SASAMI @ Brudenell Social Club, Saturday 7th September
Sasami Ashworth – who records under her first name SASAMI – cemented her place among indie’s rapidly expanding firmament of excellent new female singer-songwriters with her debut album SASAMI earlier in 2019. Her European tour this autumn calls in at the Brudenell Social Club on Saturday night – her electrifying live performances are something to behold. Don’t miss out! (TICKETS)
Cosmonauts @ Hyde Park Book Club, Sunday 8th September
Dealing in distorted, loud “drug punk”, in their own words, Los Angeles’ Cosmonauts are heavyweights of the city’s garage-rock scene. Earlier in 2019, they released their fifth studio album Star 69, yet another collection of lithe, muscular punk. Hyde Park Book Club is playing host to them for under a tenner on Sunday night. (TICKETS)
Modern Nature @ Brudenell Social Club, Friday 13th September
Having previously been a member of The Beep Seals, Mazes and Ultimate Painting, as well as a solo artist, Manchester-based Jack Cooper is an under-appreciated veteran of the British indie scene in 2019. He recently released an excellent album with his new band Modern Nature, a project undertaken with Beak> member Will Young, and the group embark on another UK tour that swings into the Brudenell Social Club. (TICKETS)
