Having recently turned 60 and off the back of a brand new studio album Badbea, the legendary Edwyn Collins – formerly of post-punk group Orange Juice and a solo artist for over three decades – calls in at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on Thursday evening. Having taught himself to speak and play guitar again since his life-threatening stroke in 2005, Collins’ story is an inspiration, and this is an opportunity to see a true indie icon in the flesh.
