Ana Popovic @ Brudenell Social Club, Thursday 9th May

Ana Popovic is a Serbian blues-rock guitarist whose music career started over twenty years ago, when she released an album titled Hometown with her band Hush. Since then, she’s also developed a successful solo career, has been touring around the world and played alongside musicians such as Bob Dylan or Ike Turner. Ten Tonnes @ Brudenell Social Club, Friday 10th May

Ten Tonnes is a talented, young musician from Hertford whose debut, self-titled album dropped just this week, on May 3rd. If you’ve already had a chance to listen to some of Ethan Barnett’s music, then you’d know that his songs are incredibly catchy and equipped in clever lyrics, making him an interesting artist to watch. Gold Sounds Festival @ Brudenell Social Club, Saturday 11th-Sunday 12th May

The annual Gold Sounds Festival returns this weekend for its fifth edition. Held over two weekends at the Brudenell Social Club, which is of course now able to host two stages’ worth of line-ups with the Community Room, and with the bar and outdoor sections open too, it’s a very cosy event right on your doorstep. With The Blinders, Pigs x7 and Pip Blom taking care of Saturday and Fat White Family and The Beths headlining the Sunday, it’s set to be another great weekend of the best up-and-coming live music in the best surrounding Leeds has to offer.
