Ticket touts are to face unlimited fines under new government plans. The UK government has cracked down on touts that use bots to bulk buy tickets and then resell them at inflated rates. The amendment to the Digital Economy Bill will now make it illegal to use bots on ticketing websites. Gig tickets have been sold at over 10 times the original price on secondary websites. It’s official, Black Sabbath confirm their split after nearly 50 years. The legendary metal band, fronted by Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne, quit after 49 years. Jay-Z and Pink have been confirmed to headline V Festival 2017. The festival in August today released its first batch of names for the lineup. The first wave of acts also sees likes of; Rudimental, Stormzy, Craig David, Madness and Ellie Goulding, and more all announced alongside the two headliners.
