Liam Gallagher announces his first solo tour in North America. The former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman will tour solo for his first time for the release of his new album. This week Liam Gallagher was announced on the line-ups of several upcoming festivals including the Osheaga festival. Liam will also be performing at Benicassim, Exit festival in Serbia and also at Lollapalooza in Paris.

Lady Gaga will headline Coachella in 2017. It is understood that it is lady gaga that will be the one who replaces Beyonce. Beyonce was originally down for the headline slot but recently had to pull out due to pregnancy concerns. It was first thought that Daft Punk would be the replacement to mark their ten year anniversary.

Lorde is releasing her new single ‘Green Light’ today on Radio 1 at 7 pm. The New Zealand singer-songwriter will premiere the lead track from her upcoming new album. Lorde has been teasing about her new single and new album for a couple of weeks now and today is the day a snippet will be released.

The Drums announce their new album Abysmal thoughts. The album will be the band’s fourth studio album and is set to be released in June later this year. The New York indie pop band have announced they’ve signed with Anti Records for their upcoming album which is officially released on June 16. Abysmal Thoughts will be the first release in three years for the band since Encyclopedia in 2014.

Wavves announce the release of their new album You’re Welcome. The band has also shared two of the tracks for the announcement; ‘Daisy’ and title track ‘You’re Welcome’. The Pop Punk bands upcoming album will feature 12 new songs with titles such as, ‘Million’, ‘Enemies’ and ‘Come out To The Valley’. The album will be released on May 19.

The 1975, Fleet Foxes and Mumford and Sons have all been confirmed to headline Latitude Festival. The festival that will take place between 13-16 July in Suffolk, made the announcement on February 29. The Americana band, Fleet Foxes will play their first gig in 5 years at the summer festival ahead of the release of their new album. Other artists announced in the line-up include Jack Garratt, Fatboy Slim, and Placebo.

T In The Park organizers announce the festival will be for over 18s only. The festival is currently taking a break and not opening its gates in the summer of 2017. The festival in Scotland has made the decision for it to be adult-only in the future when it returns. The organizers have said the change has come because they want to “try and keep people safe”.
