Reading & Leeds announce their full and final line-up. 90 new acts have been announced on April 7 for the upcoming festival in August. Former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher heads the latest announcement. He will be joining headliners Eminem, muse and Kasabian who had been previously announced. Other artists announced include PVRIS, Declan McKenna, Mura Masa, sub Focus. 

Kendrick Lamar’s new album will be released next week on Friday April 14. Kendrick Lamar recently teased a possible imminent new album with ‘IV’ sign on his Instagram page. Anticipation was build up for an announcement on April 7th but it was just an announcement of the release date another 7 days after. The Album which for which the title is still to be confirmed, will be Kendrick Lamar’s latest record, since 2015’s To Pimp A Butterfly.  The upcoming release would be the rapper’s fourth full-length studio album since his debut Section.80 came out in 2011.

Spotify has announced that some new albums will only be available for premium subscribers for two weeks from the release. Spotify have linked with Universal which keeps back all Universal albums from free users for two weeks. Universal Music Group, which owns brands that work with artists like Drake, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Paul McCartney and Andrea Bocelli have imposed a two-week period of its artist’s songs. The deal aims to give more benefits to its users that subscribe from £4.99 a month.

The Melvins announce double album A Walk With Love And Death, combining a full album with a film score. The full LP is called Death and the film score is called Love. The project. which was released via Ipecac Recordings will be available on CD, vinyl and digitally. The release which features 23 tracks will be released on July 7.

The Gossip’s lead singer Beth Ditto announces debut solo album Fake Sugar. Gossip frontwoman Ditto has announced her solo album to be released on June 16th. The album will be released via Virgin Records. She recently unveiled one of the singles, ‘Fire’. The 12-song LP was mainly produced by Jennifer Decilveo.

Kele Okereke has announced a solo acoustic tour in May, ahead of his solo record anticipated in 2017. The Bloc Party frontman announced a series of intimate gig across Europe on Twitter. He will be performing a mix of new and old material. The tour will be in major cities across Europe including, Madrid, Berlin, Paris, Brussels and London, from May 12 to May 22.
