Ticket touts are to face unlimited fines under new government plans. The UK government has cracked down on touts that use bots to bulk buy tickets and then resell them at inflated rates. The amendment to the Digital Economy Bill will now make it illegal to use bots on ticketing websites. Gig tickets have been sold at over 10 times the original price on secondary websites.
